Founder & Director / Senior Support Worker
I’m Mon & I started Younique in 2022 when I was 23, because I believe disability should never mean missing out. No barrier is too big when you've got the right people in your corner, and watching our participants out there living life their way is still my favourite part of the job.
I'm currently studying Psychology alongside a Diploma of Counselling, and I bring everything I learn back to our team.
When I'm not working, I'm usually out on the farm with my horses or at a gig with my friends and family. I love staying active with the gym and running, and I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie too. I've got my skydiving and scuba tickets, and my motorbike licence is next on the list!
Ash
Operations Manager / Senior Support Worker
I’m Ash & I keep things running behind the scenes and I'm your go-to for questions, guidance or just a check-in, so you'll be hearing from me a lot!
I've spent over 10 years supporting children, young people and families. I hold a Bachelor of Teaching and an Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management, and I'm trained in child-centred play therapy, which I love sharing with parents and carers.
Outside of Younique, I run a film photography business and a creative studio, so there's always a slightly out-there idea in the works. On slower days, you'll find me at home on the couch with my husband and our animals.
Talissa
Senior Support Worker
After four years in early childhood education, I moved into disability support, bringing plenty of patience and a knack for meeting people where they're at.
My favourite part of the job is getting to know each person and building real connections, whether we're working on goals or just getting out and having fun.
Outside of work, you'll find me at the gym or the beach with my boyfriend and friends. On quieter days, I'm making art or curled up with a book and my two cats.

Senior Support Worker
Hi, I'm Claire! I bring almost 30 years of experience as an educator, with a Bachelor of Education and time spent everywhere from early childhood to special education and secondary school.
I've learned there's no one-size-fits-all approach, so I love taking the time to understand each person and what brings them joy.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking and swimming, or slowing down with a good book and some cooking. Whenever we can, I head off on caravan adventures with my husband and our two teenage boys.

Senior Support Worker
Hi, I'm Paskelle! I've spent over two years in disability and behavioural support, and I'm passionate about helping people have a real voice in their own lives. For me, support means working alongside someone, not doing things for them.
I love seeing people discover something new they enjoy or nail something they've been working towards.
Outside of work, I've always got music playing and a creative project on the go. Fun fact: I'm fascinated by bugs and spiders! At home, you'll find me with my partner and my two cats, Koi and Flynn.

Hi, I'm Kelly, of of the newest members of the Younique crew! I've spent years working in a special school, so supporting people to learn, grow and have a laugh along the way is right up my alley.
I'm a bit quirky and I love that our team is too. I'm all about bringing good energy and making every day a little more fun.
I've travelled a lot and I'm always up for an adventure. These days, you'll find me in Yeppoon, getting my fix of health and fitness by the beach.
Astrid
Support Worker
Hi, I'm Astrid! I've supported everyone from teenagers to older adults, and I love getting to know people and helping them feel confident trying new things.
I'm currently studying Chinese Medicine, so I'm always curious about different ways of looking after our wellbeing.
Outside of work, you'll find me at the gym or yoga, getting into art and music, or exploring somewhere new. My biggest love is my ginger cat, who's been by my side since I was eight!

Hi, I'm Lara! I love all things learning and am currently studying Psychology at CQUniversity. I love building real relationships with the people I support and helping them get out and enjoy life their way.
Outside of work, I could honestly be anywhere, from a weekend camping trip to a spontaneous gig. On quieter days I've got a paintbrush or camera in hand, or I'm working through my ever-growing watchlist.
Fun fact: I'm a night owl, and I will strongly defend pineapple on pizza!

Hi, I'm Liz! I came to Younique from childcare, bringing lots of patience and kindness, plus plenty of chat. Fair warning, I love a good yarn!
I'm all about enriching activities, so if there's a craft project or something creative on the go, count me in.
Art is my happy place. I used to teach paint and sip classes, and I'd love to share that with the people I support. At home, I'm a proud mum of two beautiful kids and wife to my husband.
